Growing the Generous Fruits and Roots of Summer

  • planning in space and time: (ie, trying to fit it all in and get non stop food!)
  • sowing, growing, planting
  • cucs, zucs, pumpkins and melons
  • eggplants, tomatoes, chillis and capsicums
  • beans
  • kumara
  • pruning and training 
  • water management
  • beneficial flowers for pest control

Please bring a contribution for a shared lunch for the final of the winter-spring series!

Winter-spring series with Gerald and Caity 

Want your own thriving garden and orchard? Join us at Okiwi Passion for inspiring, hands-on workshops, where we will share growing tips and techniques (and some of Caity’s baking!) 

Bookings Essential: Minimum 4  Limit 12 per workshop  so everyone has a quality experience

Workshop “Need-to-Knows” 

  • Morning tea and refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch


  • In the event that a workshop has to be cancelled the fee will be refunded in full
  • If you are unable to attend a workshop you have booked and paid for, as long as you give us 14 days’ notice we will give you a complete refund less a $10 administration fee.  We cannot give refunds if given less than 14 days’ notice.
