Apple, Giant Geniton on Northern Spy

One of our new favourites! This is an outstanding heavy reliable cropper that keeps well. The fruit have greenish skin turning very pale yellow with red streaks when ripe. It can be picked early (Feb) and used as a cooker- for the most amazing fluffy apple mousse – or picked later (April) for fresh eating. It tastes like a tree ripened Granny Smith but with finer flesh. Very healthy tree.
